Vision

To be a catalyst for change, and in doing so, empower others to become changemakers in the pursuit of social and environmental justice, liberation, and collective joy.

Mission

To actively lead and support efforts that foster collective wellbeing, liberation, and joy by cultivating spaces of empowerment, collaboration, and transformative action. Through these efforts, I aim to inspire others to step into their roles as changemakers, creating a more just and joyful world for all.

Teaching Philosophy

As an educator, researcher, and leader, I center love as a methodology in all that I do. I believe that by approaching my work with a deep sense of empathy, care, and compassion for my students, colleagues, and research participants, I can create spaces and experiences that honor and celebrate our shared humanity. Love allows me to hold space for difference, engage in difficult conversations, and build meaningful relationships with those around me. By centering love in my methodology, I am able to engage in reflexive and critical analysis that acknowledges the multiple, complex layers of power and identity that shape our experiences.

Forest
How will you help heal the world?
by healing myself and supporting
the healing of those around me.
by allowing love to fill my very
being and guide my every action.
by understanding that if it causes
harm, it must not be the right way.
